Primary Objectives:
Gate camera monitoring
Ensure that all internal & external telephone calls are answered.
Ensure that all pertinent details of delivery or pick up are communicated well.
Ensure that System is updated frequently and accurately with any in/out times, notes, or information.
Ongoing personal/professional development
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Communicate with drivers and clients to ensure smooth operations.
Monitor the movement of vehicles and cargo to ensure safety and compliance.
Maintain accurate records of shipments.
Coordinate with maintenance staff to ensure vehicles are in good condition for transport.
Resolve any issues or delays with shipments in a timely manner.
Create and update entries in Fleet Manager
Maintain accurate records of safety performance, incidents, and training activities.
Inspect vehicles and equipment to ensure that they meet safety standards and identify potential hazards or maintenance needs.
Collaborate with other departments, such as maintenance and dispatch, to ensure that all aspects of transportation operations are conducted safely.
Provide excellent customer service to visitors and employees entering or exiting the premises.
Write internal communications documents, including handouts and emails, to inform team members of important notices.
Must have:
Strong English language skills verbal & written.
Education & Experience
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
This position generally requires at least 1-2 years of related experience.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Familiarity with safety protocols and regulations
