The Territory Sales Representative position in the Southern California area which will require you to support our sales development & work directly & effectively with our diverse customer base & sales team, making decisions & determining agreements in the best interests of A-SAFE. 



PRIMARY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:




  • Identify, qualify & deliver new business

  • Develop relationships with potential & existing customers

  • Attend appointments with new customers demonstrating company’s products & services

  • Actively follow up on leads & opportunities

  • Attend exhibitions, present & discuss A-SAFE products & services with prospective customers

  • Site Surveys – assessing the customer needs & providing appropriate solutions

  • Conduct product & company presentations to primarily end users, occasionally architects/contractors selling the unique benefits that the A-Safe product range offers

  • Qualification & conversions of sales leads

  • Cold calling opportunities

  • Presentation of progress reports on both individual customers & construction projects

  • Provide regular updates to the CRM database to help management manage the business

  • Work mainly with a designated territory (which may change, subjects to team structure) implement a focused sales strategy for the territory

  • Identify customers for adoption for best practice agreements

  • Regularly liaise with delegated internal sales personnel

  • Collaborate on activities with the internal sales personnel highlighting key opportunities – industries, areas & potential new customers

  • Coordinate with the internal technical quotation & installation departments

  • Provide customer information necessary to prepare quotations

  • Other duties as assigned by management



 



Requirements:




  • Business to Business sales background

  • Experience in selling benefits of products & services

  • Solution-sale approach & understanding of project-based sales

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent sales experience

  • Capable of managing & supporting change

  • Ability to create & deliver tailored presentations

  • Effective leadership communication & decision-making skills

  • High motivation, target driven, self-starter with a proven track record in sales

  • Experience of coordinating & managing multiple projects effectively

  • Excellent time management & organizational skills

  • Proven & successful experience in a sales representative role

  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office

  • Familiarity with BRM & CRM practices along with ability to build & nurture productive business professional relationships

  • Ability to create, deliver presentations & demonstrations tailored to the audience

  • Relationship management skills & openness to feedback

  • Experience working within the material handling, health & safety or industrial machinery sectors is preferred but not required.

  • Experience in surveying/site measuring & conveying information accurately




  • You will need to commit to traveling for approximately 40-60% of your working time (involves staying an expected average of 2 nights per week away from home)

  • You may be required to lift 50-60lbs
