Summary: We are looking for a Test Automation Script Creator proficient in automation testing methodologies, with analytical skills to structure scripts according to test case requirements. The role involves creating and updating automation test scripts, reporting bugs in JIRA, developing a script roadmap, and managing automation equipment while communicating with stakeholders. Responsibility: - Create/update automation test script on in-house automation tool.
- Maintain library of common functions for re-usability.
- Modify test scripts for any new change in the functionality.
- Create test script for critical defects to reproduce it.
- Identify the test suite and execute automation testing based on SW releases and report to stakeholders.
- Report bugs in JIRA.
- Create a roadmap for scripts creation and execution.
- Communicate with stakeholders to identify the areas that requires to be automated.
- Manage and setup automation equipment
- On-site work required at TX HQ
Daily tasks: - Review and Plan test cases for automation on next sprint and create stories.
- Create test script based on one kind of multimedia.
- Validate each script on other multimedia with different screen and resolution.
- Adapt or make necessary changes to accommodate other multimedia variations.
- Execute test script overnight and fix bugs in the script.
- Report bugs in the JIRA
- Send execution summary to the stakeholders.
Qualifications - Well-versed with automation testing methodologies.
- Analytical skill to formulize the script structure based on test case needs.
- Excellent communication, enabling the building and maintenance of relationships with team and stakeholders
- Experience of working with agile mythology
- Steadily accomplishing each milestone.
Nice to have - Understanding of XML, JSON format, Python
- Experience of car infotainment
- Experience of any automation tools
- Experience of smartphone automation with Selenium, Appium or similar tools
