Test Release LEAD- SMEIn this role you will be challenged to ensure the Non-Production Environments (AKA the Test Environments) are properly understood, managed (governed & coordinated) and Fit for Purpose i.e. fit for usage by the relevant teams.Job DescriptionGENERAL FUNCTION:Work with self-directed, cross-functional, and product-oriented teams in a highly collaborative environment. Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.Achieve operational excellence by automating processes and creating maintainable, supportable, and testable solutionsKeep up with technology trends and innovations in your field(s) of practiceProvide operational support and troubleshooting for your teams products and servicesMaintain appropriate controls and documentation to ensure compliance with all company and regulatory requirementsProvide coaching, mentoring, and training for new or less experienced team membersProvide leadership and guidance to your team in your technical field(s) of expertiseOther duties as assignedSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None.MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED:Bachelors degree in a relevant technology field or equivalent combination of education and work experience.Six+ years of engineering or other IT work experience relevant to the position.Strong problem-solving and communication skills.Willingness to work in a highly-collaborative environment.Solid understanding and significant experience with modern software development practices, tools, and/or hardware technologies.Solid understanding of IT security best practices.Experience with the concept of using APIs for Integrations.Experience controlling test environments and configuration management.Experience working with QA, Production Support, DevelopmentExperieD Tools.nce working with both Agile and Waterfall teamsExperience with CI/CDExperience working with Value Stream Mapping Tools a plus.Experience with Scripting a plusExperience working with Environments and Release Management with large scale transformations a plus.
