Role: Tissue Processing Technician I
Location: Cordova, TN - 38018
Duration: 06 Months on W2
2nd Shift - 2:30pm - 11pm
Job Description:
The Tissue Processing Technician will be responsible for processing tissue products according to established procedures. They will ensure accurate processing within specified timelines and proper storage and disposal of tissue materials.
Responsibilities:
Process allograft tissue for surgical use.
Use aseptic techniques and equipment to evaluate, cut, shape, and package grafts.
Complete paperwork and perform data entry as needed.
Clean clean rooms according to schedule.
Support lab functions and handle donor tissues.
Prepare grafts for sterilization and maintain documentation.
Perform other related duties as required.
Required Skills & Knowledge:
High School diploma or equivalent.
Surgical Technologist / Sterile Processing Certification or Bachelor's degree in science.
Familiarity with sterile technique and aseptic processing.
0-3 years of relevant experience. Medical background with med/surg experience.
Experience in a clean room setting. Ability to meet ISO Class 5 and 7 Clean Room standards.
