JOB TITLE: Tool Design Engineer 3 (Aerospace Experience Required) LOCATION: Salt Lake City, UT PAY RATE: $66.00 per hour. ***MUST BE US PERSONS*** Very exciting opportunity to work with one of the world's largest aerospace companies! Contract 12 mos. - potential for extended term -
Shifts: 1st, 6:45-3:30 PM, 5x8s -

Successful completion of training is a contingency for this assignment OJT or formal classroom training -
Must be computer literate and able to navigate computer -

Project will support 787 dreamliner for boeing commercial airplanes -
First all composite commercial aircraft that is in operation today -
New work -
Evaluates program and project requirements, develops complex equipment and tooling concepts and designs solutions for the Production System. -
Compiles and analyzes technical data to determine the effects on product engineering design and rate estimates, identifies robotics, automation or technology recommendations and system integration for equipment and tooling. -
Ensures compliance with safety, producibility, maintainability, reliability, ergonomic factors and regulatory requirements. -
Validates contractual performance milestones, maintains configuration control, conducts reviews, prepares plans for productions readiness, preventative maintenance, and spares. -
Conducts training for Production and Maintenance personnel. -
Develops and implements work-arounds and maintains configuration of hardware, software and documentation. -
Performs studies and make recommendation for disposition of assets. Required Skills: -
Huge advantage with anyone with prior experience with Boeing -
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor). -
Experience with composite manufacturing -
Equipment that supports composite manufacturing experience -
Experience with reliability engineering -
Really need help is on equipment engineering experience -
5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). -
