This full time, permanent, Toolmaker and Diemaker opportunity is at a growing, manufacturing company. Demand for products is steady as customers include the government as well as a variety of  industries. This 100 year old company utilizes a mix of current and older technology. Employees here enjoy four day work weeks, variety and autonomy. The duties and responsibilities of the successful candidate should include the following:

• New stamping die and/or die part creation


• Tear down, troubleshoot, repair and rebuild of existing dies


• Lathe, milling machine, and grinder setup and operation


• Blueprint reading


• Coworker training


• Working hands-on for ten hour days, four days per week on second shift

• Five years of experience as a tool & die maker


• Ability to work ten hour days, four days per week on second shift


• A Journeyman Tool and Die card

 

Stamping die experience is preferred but not required.
