Job Description:
Technical/Functional Skills
Should have commendable expertise in Java, J2EE, and server technologies and frameworks such as Web services and Spring, databases (Relational and non-relational NoSQL)
Experience with Point of Sale with Toshiba OS and Retail domain
Good understanding of Unix scripting
Experience in aligning software development practices with CI/CD and DevOps practices
Experience with GIT, Continuous Integration systems & Bug Tracking (Jira) tools
Experience with Agile software development methodology and working with distributed development teams preferably working in Jira tool
Analytical mindset and good problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Experience in working with clients to understand requirements, come up with design, and estimate efforts
Active team player & excellent interpersonal interaction skills in a teamwork environment.
Roles & Responsibilities
Designing and implementing Java-based applications.
Interact with customer as well as business teams for requirement gathering risk assessment and finalization of technical specifications
Analyze functional/non-functional/technical requirements and create codes/build solutions/reusable components for the system
Producing detailed design documents
Developing and testing software, debugging, and resolving technical problems that arise
Develop prototypes and demonstrate the proof of concept to the Customer after completing the feasibility analysis
Co-ordinate with the On-site project team and offshore project delivery team
Effort estimating and assisting in Project planning for the different phases.
