Tower Technician

We have an immediate opening for a F/T tower climber technician to join our team and help us install, repair and maintain cell tower equipment.

You'll join our close-knit 12-person tower technician crew who are are eager to help you succeed.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Support all aspects of tower installations, including all antennas and transmission lines.
Ensure quality construction from the foundation to erection of lattice towers, monopoles, and guyed towers.
Follow all workplace health and safety requirements.

COMPENSATION

$18 - $40 per hour - depending on your experience and certifications.
Full medical and other benefits.

SKILLS YOU'LL NEED

At least one year experience as a tower technician working on all structures such as monopole, self-standing, guyed towers, and roof tops.
Experience with antenna and line upgrades, steel mod projects, and potentially microwave installation and alignment.
Knowledge of major carrier sites including LTE, NSB, Electrical, Civil, DAS, and/or Small Cell.
Install RF and antenna system components such as BTS, RRU's, antennas, TMA's, diplexers, COAX, grounding, supports, weatherproofing, connectors, hardware, etc.
Operate hand and power tools and test gear.
Read, implement and redline site CDs.
Perform Job Safety Analysis, promote team safety and proper PPE with risk mitigation.
Basic computer skills.
Perform math computations as related to trade and moderate ability to read blue prints and schematics; basic understanding of qualitative and quantitative circuit analysis.
Skill using hand and power tools, analog/digital test equipment, man lifts, RF testing devices, and ladders.

REQUIREMENTS

Lift over 100 lbs.
Climb structures holding a 25 lb. tool bag up to 300'.
Ability to walk, stand, bend and be on your feet throughout your shift.
Work in all weather conditions.
Communicate clearly in English.
Driver's license
Work overtime when needed and be available on an emergency basis.
Follow OSHA requirements to ensure everyone's safety.

CERTIFICATIONS

OSHA 10
RF Technician Awareness Certification
CPR/First Aid
Competent Climber & Rescuer
We can help you obtain any certs you are missing.

SCHEDULE

8-10 hour shift
Monday Friday (Typical)
Roughly 6:30AM to 4:00PM
Some overtime hours throughout the year.
