Job Description:

• Assists in delivering comprehensive training to all FIA staff to assure all levels of staff accurately understand their new job responsibilities and procedures relative to the implementation of the FIA systems.
• Plans develop, implements, and evaluates all FIA Systems Training and training activities for FIA staff(link removed)>
• Gathers data for needs assessment and assists in defining behavioural objectives. Assists in determining which staff members require training, setting due dates for completion of said training, and preparing and disseminating training schedules. Submits training reports to the Coordinator of FIA Systems Training on a timely basis.
• Keeps abreast of FIA System initiatives, as well as Agency policies, and analyses their impact on current training modules.
• Attends train-the-trainer workshops to become familiar with curriculum materials and presentation methodology.
• Evaluates the impact of training on job performance through the conducting and interpretation of audits and the analysis of trainee reaction sheets
• Assists in providing ongoing training to familiarize newly hired or promoted staff with the FIA system initiatives.
• Participates in various project teams within the FIA Systems Training units.
• Ensures available training space and equipment for all trainees scheduled to attend the program.
• Tracks all trainees and FIA Systems training-related courses through an automated training tracking system.
