Integrated Security Technologies, Inc. (IST) designs, installs and services integrated electronic and physical security systems (access control, intrusion detection, video surveillance, physical barriers, etc.) for government and commercial entities. Though based primarily in the mid-Atlantic region, our team members dispatch to locations throughout the nation and occasionally overseas. Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assess current training programs and recommend improvements based on industry best practices and standards.
• Identify training needs.
• Translate requirements into training to facilitate user proficiency in relative subject matter.
• Strategically plan, implement and track security training initiatives.
• Assist in the development or oversight of the production of training documentation to include, but not limited to, classroom style handouts, instructional materials, aids and manuals.
• Design, implement, and deliver high quality training and workshops customized to the training audience; maintain calendar of scheduled trainings.
• Assess training effectiveness to ensure incorporation of taught skills into practice and everyday use.
• Record training metrics and draft insightful summary reports.
• Continually evaluate ongoing programs to ensure that they reflect any changes.

Requirements

• Minimum five (5) years of experience developing and delivering training concepts and learning principles.
• Knowledge of the processes used to develop and manage a training program to include developing goals and objectives, conducting training assessments and curriculum reviews, and the planning and execution of training events.
• Proficient knowledge of learning management software.
• Ability to conduct cost-benefit analysis and calculate training return on investment.
• Sound decision making and organizational skills.
• Ability to present complex information to a variety of audiences.
• Experience collaborating and partnering with internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience delivering training through multiple channels to include online learning, in person and multi-media formats.
• Ability to work in an unstructured environment and be self-motivating.
• Knowledge of ISC, physical security, safety, security operations, access control and facility management sufficient to ensure compliance to relevant directives, post orders, regulations, and/or requirements.
• Knowledge of physical security programs, equipment and operating procedures in order to enforce standard processes and procedures and updates of training courses, tests and evaluation procedures and other related requirements.
• Experience in commonly used methods, procedures, regulations and other guides that relate to training programs within the physical security career field.
• Experience in conducting training and educational assignments; handling problems and deviations, or resolving most problems in accordance with instructions, policies, regulatory/agency guidance, previous training and/or accepted unit administration practices.
• Experience in developing training lesson plans and timetables under general guidance to meet technical soundness, appropriateness, and conformity to mission policy and requirements in detail.
