Job Description
Testing and Validation of Automatic Transmission at component and or system level.
Prepare test plans and execute tests seamlessly in India or Germany.
Ensure project delivery on time meeting all the quality requirements.
Coordination with Counterparts, Design Departments, Test Agencies.
Ensure maximum uptime of testing equipments.
Ensure quality of test data generated and optimize number of tests.
Analyse test data and prepare test reports.
Generate innovative ideas for adding value to existing projects
Analyse failures, investigate root cause and suggest corrective action.
Coordinate for transmission spares and consumables as required.
Coordinate with logistics partners for Component logistics.
Experience of creating DVP, exposure to FMEA is a strong advantage.
Cross functional Design & CAD-CAE loops
Skills requirement
Know-How on Automatic Transmission/Electric drive development will be added advantage
Good communication skills
Basic knowledge on coding/Programming. Ex: Python, VBA, MATLAB etc."
Good experience in Component and system level Validation and Testing for Transmission
Experience in Powertrain Component testing.
Should have good knowledge and experience of Transmission, assembly and component measurement processes.
Should possess knowledge of latest trends in development of Automatic transmission.
Understanding and creation of test plan and validation cycles.
Experience in working with suppliers for validation activities.
Should have good knowledge of instrumentation & DAQ techniques related to transmission testing.
Good Knowledge of tes data Post prossesing and test reporting methods
Knowledge of standard protocols and test standards (ISO, DIN etc.)
Experience of creating DVP, exposure to FMEA is a strong advantage.
Experience in conducting special validation tests.
Good communication skill & High motivation to work in a team and to contribute with positive attitude
German Language is an added advantage
Self-Improvement (Learning Ability)"
