In this role, you will solicit FAKs truckload transportation services to shippers throughout the country by utilizing our carrier network and industry-leading load boards. Your success in this role is measured by achieving and exceeding your monthly quota goals and actively building return customers.
The hire date for this role is Monday, 2/05/2024. You must be able to start on this date.
What Youll Do:
Make calls, send emails, and network to establish relationships and build your book of business from the ground up
Negotiate rates with shippers and carriers
Source, develop, and manage carrier capacity for your customers shipments
Understand market trends, seasonality, and industry variables to ensure quoting accuracy and proactive communications
Act as a consultative transportation professional for all shipper and carrier contacts
Oversee daily operations of your accounts to ensure appointments are scheduled, shipments are tracked, and all parties receive proper communication in a timely manner
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED
- Proficient with Microsoft applications and programs
- Ability to commute to our office in Denver (the LoHi area) Monday through Friday 7:00 am 4:00 pm MST. Flexibility to work from home is based on merit and tenure.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior sales, operations, or customer service experience is preferred, but not required
- We prefer some sales experience, but we have top sales representatives with diverse backgrounds
- Strong negotiation skills
- Excellent communication, outstanding customer service, and the ability to identify and prioritize by urgency/need
