Are you passionate about travel and possess extensive experience in selling holiday packages and tour packages from tourism departments If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Travel Sales Specialist with over 3 years of proven expertise in the travel industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales Expertise: Utilize your in-depth knowledge of holiday packages and tour packages provided by tourism departments to effectively promote and sell these offerings to prospective travelers.

  2. Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service to meet their travel needs and exceed their expectations.

  3. Product Knowledge: Stay updated on the latest offerings, destinations, and trends in the travel industry, ensuring you can provide accurate and compelling information to customers.

  4. Tailored Solutions: Customize travel itineraries based on individual customer preferences, ensuring a unique and unforgettable travel experience.

  5. Sales Targets: Consistently achieve and exceed sales targets by identifying potential clients, negotiating deals, and closing sales.

  6. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing and customer support, to enhance the overall customer experience and drive sales.

  7. Documentation: Accurately prepare and maintain sales records, contracts, and other documentation related to travel bookings.

  8. Problem Solving: Address customer concerns and resolve any issues that may arise during the booking and travel process.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in Travel Sales, specifically with a focus on holiday packages and tour packages from tourism departments.

  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets in the travel industry.

  • Strong knowledge of travel destinations, tourism trends, and tourism department offerings.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with customers and build lasting relationships.

  • Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills for managing travel documentation and itineraries.

  • Team player with the ability to collaborate with colleagues from various departments.

  • Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service.

  • Proficiency in relevant travel software and booking platforms.
