Tube Mill Operator

• $50 Advance available after first day at work!


• Primary Job Function:


• Responsible for the tube mill operations and equipment of the mill to insure continuous operation during the shift.


• To perform this job successfully, an individual must meet expectations of each essential duty. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and abilities required.


• Education:


• High school or equivalent


• Experience:


• Experience in using special measuring devices, calipers, tape measure.


• Must be able to navigate, set up equipment controller for proper operation and parts programming.


• Roll Tooling experience with set ups and change over.


• Change out press dies, cut off jaws, blades, and refill oil levels of equipment.


• Demonstrate ability to meet negotiated time frames.


• Good Mechanical Aptitude.


• Forklift and overhead crane certification.


• Experience with some automation programming.


• Job Duties & Requirement (included but not limited to the following):


• Safety, quality, priorities above all


• Focus on the keeping the mill operational


• Maintain clean, safe, organized work area


• Cross Training of team members on parts programming and mill set ups


• TPM of process and equipment in the area


• Coordinate daily and weekly activities with department supervisor


• Perform visual and manual quality checks of finished products


• Work with maintenance hands on to get issues resolved in a timely manner


• Ability to think and react to schedule changes and conditions on the mill


• Must be able to document down time through seamless reporting system to drive KPI tracking
