Job Title Reading Tutors and Math Tutors
We are looking for part-time reading and math tutors for our students in grades K-8th for the upcoming 2022-2023 school year. Tutors will be required to support small group instruction and intervention and administer one-on-one assessments. Grade levels and subject areas assigned will be based on knowledge and experience. Hours are flexible(link removed) No more than 30 hrs. a week. Applicants need to be available a minimum of 2 hours a day, twice a week. Hours of instruction will be Monday through Friday, between 8:00am and 3:00pm.
Requirements
Applicants must have reliable transportation, current clearances, at least an associates degree, bachelors degree in education, a bachelors degree and PA certification in Elementary Education, Special Education, Reading, ESL, English, Language Arts or Grades 4-8 Mathematics, or Mathematics 7-12 preferred.
Applicants are required to be reliable, organized, enthusiastic, and interested in working with younger students.
Retired teachers and students enrolled in education programs are encouraged to apply.
Benefits
Hourly rates range up to $40 hr. - based on degree and experience.
