You will collaborate with UX, Motion, Product, and Engineering teams to bring products to life through user interface design, digital brand development, and prototypes. You will contribute to apps across the web, mobile, and television devices in this position. An ideal candidate is creative, energetic, and deeply knowledgeable about the latest design trends, accessibility best practices, and technologies. As our product designer, you will ensure we deliver seamless and best-in-class digital experiences that work beautifully for users and business.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
This role is highly collaborative, working seamlessly across design, product, engineering, and program management teams. This product designer encourages open communication and can articulate ideas effortlessly to key stakeholders. This position is responsible for solving user problems, producing rapid visual concepts, and delivering high-fidelity design while staying true to each brand's unique and distinguished quality. Must be able to communicate and hand off precise design deliverables for development effectively.

HOURS
8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Pacific time)

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree or higher in Graphic/Interaction Design or equivalent professional experience.
Qualified candidates must have at least 2-years-experience designing for digital platforms
Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and UI best practices across multiple platforms (web, iOS, Android, etc.).
Experience with responsive design and mobile applications.
Experience working for technology, digital media or digital focused agencies.
Advanced skills when designing in Sketch and/or Figma.
Self-motivated, problem solver with ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong interest in and aptitude for learning new technologies and design skills.
Strong work ethic, reliability, adaptability, works well with others. A team player.
All applicants are required to supply an online portfolio that must include both mobile and web interface design.

REQUIRED EDUCATION
BA/BS degree or equivalent experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with TV devices (Roku, Xbox, Apple TV, FireTV, Android TV).
Experience within an Agile delivery team to iteratively plan and develop products.
Keynote presentations.
Experience using inspect tools such as Abstract and Invision.
Experience with rapid prototyping applications.

ADDITONAL INFORMATION
Looking for someone working West Coast Hours. This position is more web based than applications, but we do want experience in both. In addition there will be some work on the app for reading comic books on digital devices. Looking for a strong UI Designer. They will work closely with the UX designer on the team who will provide wireframes, while this position will do the visual designs of the user interface. They need to have a good sense of usability, for example, characters may not have a wireframe, so this person would have to figure out who to animate or what the movement would be like. In addition, they need to be prepared to show multiple versions of something for review. Don't want someone who puts all their energy into just once concept. We are looking for people who worked on Product teams and less on marketing teams. We don't want someone who designed a splash page for the launch of a new car or something. We want someone who creates things for long term, not for a quick marketing campaign. In addition, we want someone who has worked on larger projects, not for a firm that just did a portion and sent in the work; someone who has worked on the whole thing or worked with a team designing concepts and bringing them to fruition. Product experience is important. They need to have experience with SKETCH design application. However, we are shifting to FIGMA and would be nice to have someone who has the Sketch and the FIGMA experience. That would be ideal. In addition, they need to have experience working with Design systems.
