UI Developer with Performance tuning

Job Description:

Profiling and Monitoring:

• Start by profiling your UI to identify performance bottlenecks. Use tools like Chrome DevTools, Firefox DevTools, or dedicated profiling tools for your framework to measure rendering and JavaScript performance.

Optimize Rendering:

• Minimize layout thrashing and reflows by using CSS techniques like flexbox and grid layout.
• Reduce unnecessary repaints by using CSS transitions and animations sparingly.
• Use hardware-accelerated CSS properties like transform and opacity for animations.
• Lazy load images and other assets to prevent blocking the main thread.

Code Splitting:

• Implement code splitting to load only the necessary JavaScript and assets for the current view. This improves initial load times and reduces the amount of JavaScript executed.

State Management:

• Choose an efficient state management solution like Redux to ensure that UI updates are minimal and localized.

Caching and Compression:

• Implement browser caching for static assets and enable GZIP/BR compression on your server to reduce transfer times.

Cross-Browser Testing:

• Test your UI in various browsers and devices to ensure consistent performance across different environments.

Content Delivery Networks (CDNs):

• Utilize CDNs for delivering assets to users from locations closer to them, reducing latency.

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $60.00 - $65.00 per hour
