UI/UX Designer (Remote, Part-Time)

We have an immediate need for a part-time UI/UX Designer to join a biotechnology company in the equine genetics space.

Location: Remote

This job expects to pay about $40 – 50 per hour.

What You Will Do:

• Craft wireframes, storyboards, process flows, and sitemaps to effectively communicate design ideas.
• Construct UI mockups and prototypes demonstrating functionality and aesthetic of sites.
• Conduct user research and usability testing, refining designs based on user feedback.
• Translate requirements into effective and intuitive product designs.
• Create detailed product designs with technical specifications for a smooth transition to engineering.
• Suggest improvements and contribute to the enhancement of existing products.
• Collaborate with engineering, sales, marketing, and executive teams for a seamless design-to-development process.

What Gets You The Job: 

• Proficiency in design tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, etc.
• A strong portfolio showcasing a keen eye for design and a diverse range of design projects.
• Minimum 5 years of industry experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Product Design, Graphic Design, or a related field.
• Comprehensive knowledge of current UX and UI principles.
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality design projects for internal applications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building strong relationships with stakeholders.
• Solid problem-solving skills and critical thinking.
• A love and knowledge of horses is a big plus!
