As we continue to expand, we are seeking a UI/UX to join our internal tools team. As a UI/UX designer, you’ll work on projects that have a large impact on the clinical side of Vien Health. Reporting to the Design Manager, you’ll be charged with creating designs that work for the customer, the business and technology. This is an opportunity to work on a product that is the heart and soul of our organization, supporting all providers (aka doctors) and administrative staff.

You are a committed team player who knows that great products are only delivered through building relationships and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. You thrive by solving complex problems from start to finish while ensuring every stakeholder is on board and working together. You’re humble, focus on craft and quality, and have a get it done attitude!

Role

Drive the full user-centered design lifecycle, from conceptualization through final visual design.

• Participate in user research, usability tests and other evaluation activities.

• Help the team interpret and understand user feedback and provide recommendations to design decisions based on that feedback.

• Research and showcase knowledge in industry trends and the latest technologies across a variety of platforms.

• Contribute to requirements and design documents

You

• 3+ years of product design experience in an agile environment, preferably in the healthcare or finance industry

• An online portfolio including in-depth dives to several projects you’ve worked on, and your journey to the final solution

• Comfortable using Adobe XD, Adobe Illustrator and Figma

• Interest in designing for a two-sided experience and ecosystem mapping

• Skilled at uncovering the root causes of difficult problems

• Ability to thrive working in small cross-functional teams with product managers, engineers, operations, clinical, and QA, among others

• Design capabilities leaning toward flows and interactions

• A focus on human and value-centered design—you think about design decisions that drive the business forward while ensuring all customers get the best experience
