Responsibilities

• Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and BA


• Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps


• Design graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs and widgets


• Build page navigation buttons and search fields


• Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look like


• Bring user-centered design (UCD) process methods to digital solutions from concept to launch by creating, site maps, wireframes, visual design, prototypes, and key UX documentation.


• Consolidate and translate research findings, team input, client needs/strategy and brand characteristics into authentic and usable interface solutions.


• Produce estimates that are accurate, consistent, and achievable, that lead to the delivery of successful outcomes


• Create original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches and tables)


• Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders


• Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness)


• Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback


• Adhere to style standards on fonts, colors and images


• Develop new user-facing features


• Build reusable code and libraries for future use


• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs


• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability


• Assure that all user input is validated before submitting to back-end services

Requirements

• 8+ years of proven work experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role


• Knowledge of wireframe tools (e.g. Wireframe.cc and InVision)


• Full-stack developer with a focus on web development and relevant tech


• Solid fundamentals of web development including HTML5, CSS


• Experience with React or Angular a must


• Additional experience with any other language is a plus; Vue.js/Node.js/etc…


• iOS or Android development skills are a huge plus (or cross-platform development)


• Experience with GraphQL a plus


• Experience with GIT in a team environment


• Min 6 years of experience
