Job Title: US Health & Welfare Benefits Lead/Senior HR Analyst Location: Jersey City, NJ (Remote with occasional on-site work) Duration: 9 Months Qualifications: - Minimum of 10 years relevant experience in Benefits and/or HR, with minimum 5 years' experience managing a U.S. benefits function or working for a benefits consulting firm or a benefit outsourcing company.
- Knowledgeable in employee health and insurance, retirement benefits design, employee benefits regulatory environment, health care reform, wellness initiatives, and marketplace trends.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong inclination towards collaboration in a globally matrixed organization, with the ability to drive multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision; must have strong capacity to deal with ambiguity and possess strong project management skills
- Proven ability to manage external vendors including working understanding of performance guarantees, contracting including RFP process
- Ability to effectively design, communicate, measure and monitor benefits and wellness programs.
- Appropriate interpersonal skills for handling sensitive and confidential situations
- Excellent mathematical skills and be financially savvy
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint required, excellent presentation skills
- Advanced degree or CEBS designation (Preferred)
- Experience with reporting (including claims analysis) tools (Preferred)
- Familiarity with benefits/wellness apps (Preferred)
Responsibilities: - US Health & Welfare Benefits Lead
Overview: - Manage the US health and welfare team to improve program design and Founder experience and manage overall spend.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for health and welfare programs.
Primary Responsibilities: - Lead a team of benefits analysts to identify and implement solutions that align with our strategy and priorities.
- Proactively report out on measurements to support our benefits strategy and service delivery model.
- Support benefits projects including new benefit program implementations, M&A transactions, costing and modeling, and other total rewards priorities.
- Accountable for the efficient implementation, ongoing delivery, and communications for various US programs, including guiding the team to support training for call centers and HR Business Partners.
- Oversight of annual enrollment process and annual update of all SPDs.
- Develop and support strategic partnerships, where appropriate.
- Foster partnerships with C&B counterparts, finance, procurement, corporate communications, legal, DEI, etc. for the implementation and ongoing governance of all programs.
- Maintain current knowledge of changing regulations related to employee benefits.
- Oversee internal and external audits across H&W programs and systems.
- Oversee data gathering and reporting for public disclosures, specifically the annual proxy statement.
Special Instructions: This is a 9-month contract position, primarily remote. The individual will preferably be located close enough to be onsite at the Jersey City, NJ
