Ubiqus is seeking a detail-oriented and well-organized Resource Management for our Interpreting department in our Secaucus, NJ office. This person will be responsible for the management of interpreting resources and project coordination activities for the Event Services division including language interpretation, audience response, and audio visual services. This role & department have a great deal of potential growth as an integral part of a large language service provider.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Screening of interpreting resources.

Maintain database of interpretation personnel resources, including detailed quality assessments, relevant qualification details, specialties, strengths/weaknesses, etc.

Plan and implement a database maintenance and growth strategy for qualified vendors.

Account management for select interpretation clients; including creating proposals, entering project details, creating vendor assignments, project management and client follow up. This responsibility includes regular phone and email contact with clients and vendors.

Researching and assisting in completion RFPs.

Responsible for making critical decisions for successful completion of projects within margin requirements.

Maintain client relationships through accurate assessment of needs and assignment of appropriate personnel.

Negotiate pricing agreements with contract interpreters and suppliers globally.

Liaise with sales and production staff to clarify assignment needs and goals.

Perform quality checks at all stages of engagement and assignment processes to ensure client satisfaction.

Attending client events, trade shows, and industry events as necessary, including off hours and weekends when necessary.

Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to 1 year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

3-5 years of planning/scheduling experience in interpretation/translation field a plus.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Native English Speaker.

COMPUTER SKILLS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Proprietary Software and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Salary Range: $45K-$50K
