We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Semiconductor Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for researching, collecting, and reporting information on the ability and capacity of our company's products and competing equipment. You will play a crucial role in aiding the design and development of equipment and systems, as well as redesigning existing systems to meet the needs of our customers. Additionally, you will provide equipment functionality and capability reports to the sales force and act as a technical liaison to the sales team.


Responsibilities:



  • Research, collect, and report information on the ability and capacity of company products and competing equipment

  • Aid in the design and development of equipment and systems

  • Redesign existing systems to fulfill the needs of customers

  • Provide equipment functionality and capability reports to the sales force

  • Act as a technical liaison to the sales team

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product development and launch

  • Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices

  • Contribute to the improvement of existing processes and procedures

  • Lead and direct the work of others as needed


Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant area of specialty

  • 8+ years of experience in the field or a related area

  • Strong knowledge and experience with System Verilog/Verilog and UVM

  • Proficiency in verification planning and coverage analysis and closure

  • Familiarity with a variety of concepts, practices, and procedures in the field

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • US citizen with no dual citizenship

  • Experience with DO254

  • Proficiency in Perl/Python scripting
