The UX/UI Designer is responsible for influencing the organizations brand, design, and user experience (UX). This person will help various functional teams across the enterprise including Product, Marketing, Finance, and Sales deliver modern design experiences that engage our customers, partners, investors, and employees. The UX/UI Designer works with leadership to define strategic projects, make recommendations, and execute high quality solutions. The UX/UI Designer is expected to be proficient in various UI tools and design areas of a software operation and capable of guiding team members to deliver best in class user experiences across our product portfolio. Additionally, the UX/UI Designer collaborates and works to solve problems with clear success criteria related to website properties, product features, and corporate communications.


Responsibilities

  • Establish best practices and standards for UI/UX including accessibility
  • Collaborate with all business teams to ensure we deliver design and UX excellence
  • Manage cross functional design projects related to UX, visual design, and front end development with strategic partners
  • Work with Product to scope, prototype, and support product roadmaps
  • Design wireframes, storyboards, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups using industry-standard software tools
  • Create visuals and supplemental graphics for web properties
  • Ability to help troubleshoot any issues related to design tools and systems
  • Design and execute key presentations, newsletters, and promotional materials
  • Assist in managing social media and public relations
  • Establish and maintain a consistent brand image throughout products and promotional materials
  • Write clear, compelling and compliant copy to support marketing initiatives and communications including email campaigns, social media strategy, website, blogs, case studies, testimonials, press releases, newsletters and other communications

  • Someone who stays up to date with design trends, technologies, and techniques to continuously improve the quality of your work
  • A collaborator, valuing the inputs of others and working cross-functionally with ease
  • Able to manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and high quality from beginning to end
  • Comfortable with setting objectives and measuring results related to design
  • Process driven with sharp organizational skills
  • A strategist and a doer - not afraid to roll up your sleeves while maintaining the big picture
  • Able to get creative with limited resources. You think outside the box
  • You have a startup mentality

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in digital design or graphic design a plus
  • 3-5 years experience in a design support function
  • Experience with design tools such as Figma, Photoshop, Adobe, etc.
  • Experience in a design support function within a software startup
