Must-Haves

• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists ARRT Sonography (S)
• RVT- vascular certification
• must be able to work schedule listed above, including call
• Needs to be RDMS certified in Abdomen or OB

Job Description

SCHEDULE

• Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, & Friday- 8a-5:30p
• 1-2 call day per week
• Weekend Call: 1 weekend every 3-4 weeks (the US Tech will not be scheduled to work on weekends, but they'll be on a team that rotates weekend call)
• Holiday Call: 1-3 shared holidays a year

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Receives patients, explains method of procedure and makes sure patient is comfortable.
• Provides patient services to all ages using imaging modalities.
• Operates ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound exams and routine invasive procedures according to established standards and practices.
• Maintains equipment and supplies and organizes work area.
• Keeps accurate records, helps with scheduling of the ultrasound and keeps patient flow smooth.
• Assists radiologist with interventional procedures as ordered. (eg; paracenthesis, needle aspirations/biopsy
