Since 2015, StudentCircle has provided one-on-one education for learners aged 5 to 80 in a broad spectrum of subjects, including Mathematics, Reading and Writing, Spanish, Mandarin, and Japanese.

 

StudentCircle’s "Teaching-Taught” philosophy reflects our belief in the shared nature of learning. StudentCircle is dedicated to educating students, but also providing opportunities and resources for our instructors to continue learning in their own lives.

 

StudentCircle tutors are “lifelong learners with academic talent.” We are rocket scientists, college students, pulitzer authors, outdoor enthusiasts, and full-time teachers. StudentCircle offers you the opportunity to turn your interest in mentorship and education into part-time teaching. For a lifelong learner, education never stops. We support our tutors in becoming inspired teachers capable of empowering students to achieve.

 

StudentCircle (Founded 2015) provides positive, respectful, responsible, and knowledgable tutors for in-person, one-on-one education in-home or in public locations. Expect to work with 2-5 students, for one hour each, once per week. Our work is very part time and students typically look for instruction outside of school and work schedules. Evening and Weekend availability is preferred. Though the PNW offers excellent public transportation options, drivers are preferred.

 

Applicants must be able to pass a background check.

 

StudentCircle works with all subjects and our arrangements are typically long-term (6+ Months.) We do not work with students studying for major tests - GED, SAT, Etc. We are hiring well-rounded people with demonstrated excellence in an academic-leaning profession or in their recent academic work. We hire lifelong learners with academic talent. We hire tutors of all backgrounds — PhDs, Current Students, Former Dropouts, Artists, Writers, Astronauts, Former Sports Players, and anyone who desires to share their ability and inspiration with students.

 

We are among the premier tutoring organizations in the PNW. Respect, professionalism, and patience are baseline requirements.

StudentCircle wages for in-person tutoring start at 25.00/hr and scale up, over time. Past tutoring experience is great but do not be dissuaded if you are new to tutoring; many of our best tutors are first-time teachers with a talent for education. Driving is preferred. Additional compensation based on advanced degrees or commensurate experience.
