If you are people-focused, well-organized, and ready to work for a company that is committed to doing the right thing, then Sunrise Acceptance has a great opportunity for you as an Underwriting Verifier, working at our Corporate finance office in Cleveland, TN.

Our Verifiers are a vital part of our operation. They prepare the necessary information needed for our Credit Managers to review consumer credit applications, and then they process and verify the information provided. This involves:

• Calling employers, landlords and references to confirm the accuracy of the data provided
• Following up with requests for missing information from internal and outside sources
• Demonstrating professionalism during all interactions with customers, verification contacts, and coworkers
• Sending required compliance notices to applicants
• Data entry into multiple internet based systems

Requirements

Our Verifiers work closely with the Credit Managers and VP of Operations to complete the daily verification and underwriting activities of the Underwriting department.

Requirements include:

• One year or more experience in underwriting, finance, or related field preferred but not required.
• Must possess the ability to read, write and fluently speak the English language.
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred, but not required.
• Must be patient, friendly, courteous and respectful in any situation.
• Must be computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly in Word and Excel.
• Must be self-motivated and efficient.
• Great attitude with high-energy personality.
• Team player, willing to assist coworkers as needed.
• Valid Drivers License with an acceptable driving record required, as some day travel between locations may be necessary.

• Hourly rate of $18 - $20/hour, depending on background and experience
