Roles & Responsibilities
Work Experience in Change, Incident, Service Management, ITIL Process and SLA.
Maintaining UNIX user accounts and access managements, Understanding IAM roles and access managements and good understanding of LDAP vs local IAM management.
Specialist knowledge in Unix Technologies RedHat, SUSE Linux & SOLARIS and Setting up and maintaining SUSE and Red hat Clusters with DRBD, Stonith and Coro sync.
`Should be very comfortable with troubleshooting Linux-based systems on issues and failures with good grasp of the Linux command line.
Experience in virtualization/hypervisor technologies on various operating platforms e.g., VMWare, HPE Service Guard cluster and Provisioning & Maintenance of VMs on cloud, Adding / removing parameters based on need, adding / removing disks from VMs and extending FS based on need., Creating Snapshots and restoring disks, VM cloning.
Experience in handling NFS file systems and NFS servers
Basic to moderate experience with one of the top cloud systems like AWS, Azure or GCP and Maintaining cloud storage based on different requirements.
Education, Experience & other requirements
- Degree in Computer science, Information technology or any related discipline
- Minimum 3 - 5years of experience into Unix servers setup, administration, upgrading and support.
- Good verbal and written communication and able to manage key stakeholders.
i.e., project team, security, compliance and IT operations
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
