Job description
Qualifications:

Assemble fully upholstered furniture in a fast paced production line.

Ability to handle and apply fabric and upholstery to furniture and decor neatly and accurately without damaging them

Ability to read tape measure and follow blueprints.

All functions of upholstering furniture including spring up, seat builders, insiders (end caps/backs), outsiders, and trimmers.

Knowledge upholstery tools such as staple guns, mauls, scissors, regulators, brass nail guns, tack pullers, etc.

Requires the ability to stand, walk, stoop, bend for 9 hours or more daily.

Requires constant use of arms, hands, fingers and eyes to assemble upholstered furniture.

May require lifting up to 60 lbs., carrying 30 lbs. or pushing and sliding up to 150 lbs.

Requires ability to work while wearing required personal protective equipment such as safety glasses.

Requires the ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and supervision.

Ability to work in a team environment with shared goals and outcomes.
