Responsibilities:
- Accurately translate verbal conversations, written documents, and presentations between English and Mandarin.
- Provide in-person translation support to ensure effective communication between parties.
- Maintain confidentiality and integrity while handling sensitive information.
- Clarify cultural nuances and idiomatic expressions to facilitate better understanding between English and Mandarin speakers.
Experience:
- Fluency in both English and Mandarin languages.
- Previous experience in translation or interpretation roles is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Cultural sensitivity and awareness of linguistic nuances.
