Job Title: Closing Associate

Duration: 1+ year

Assignment location with zip code: Trenton NJ 08625

Work from Office or Remote: Remote

Work hours: 9 am-5 pm

Lunch period: 1 hour unpaid (between 12 pm and 2 pm)

Complete Description:

Knowledge, skills, education, and/or experience;

  • Basic knowledge of secured lending transactions and comprehension of lending and legal document language.
  • Familiarity with legal terminology and documents and the ability to accurately review basic legal documents for acceptability.
  • Ability to analyze basic legal problems, concepts, and documents, and draft related legal documents self-starter.
  • Demonstrates strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Ability to prioritize workload.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing and proficient in grammar, spelling, and editing.

Mandatory skills/certification(s) Requirement:

  • Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum of 2-5 years experience in legal and/or banking environment and loan documentation.
  • Experience with organizational structures is a plus.
  • Formal legal education and training are preferred.

Desired skills:

  • Self-starter, ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Highly organized, and detail-oriented, handle various tasks simultaneously and function effectively under pressure.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft 365 Dynamics, and the ability to learn new software packages.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Preparation and review services of basic to moderately complex legal documents and due diligence with minimum supervision.
  • Coordinates and handles all aspects of basic to moderately complex product closing and post-closing activities.
  • Interacts with borrowers, underwriters, and other staff to facilitate closings.
  • Prepares and processes the closed files in accordance with approved post-closing procedures; inputs product information into CRM/Enable and updates systems on a continual basis as applicable.

  • Microsoft Outlook Microsoft Teams
  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 Adobe, CRM/Enable
  • Equipment to be used by the temporary staffing professional(s):
  • The candidate will be provided with a laptop for use
