Project Details Role : Security Engineer(DevSecOps, Infrastructure) Location : Remote Duration : 12+ Months Security Engineer(DevSecOps, Infrastructure)Duties and responsibilities: Integrates security and quality analysis tools into the CICD pipeline. Implements and enforces security standards across all automated processes, ensuring that any vulnerabilities are addressed. Works with teams to ensure their apps and infrastructure are secure. Technical Requirements: Familiarity with DevSecOps concepts and practices Proficiency in one or more programming languages (C#, Java, Python, C++, Groovy) Proficiency in one or more scripting languages (Bash, Powershell) Familiar with various DevSecOps tools (Jenkins, Nexus Repository Manager, Gitlab) Proficiency in using security scanning tools (CAST, SonarQube, Nexus IQ Server, RedHat ACS, Nessus, etc and vulnerability management platforms. Familiarity with secure software development practices, secure coding standards, and security testing methodologies. Hands-on experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, Openshift) and container security best practices. Knowledge of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Scaled Agile Framework) Familiarity with one or more version control systems (Gitlab, Github, Git) Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools and concepts (Ansible, OpenShift, Tanzu) for secure environment provisioning and configuration. Understanding of network security principles and technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and secure network architectures. Experience with automated deployments using one or more of the following tools (Ansible, OpenShift, Mulesoft, Liquibase) Strong knowledge of security principles, best practices, and common frameworks (NIST Cybersecurity Framework, OWASP, CIS Benchmarks Proficient in building security architecture guardrails via threat modeling and identify business impact Experience in incident response and handling security incidents, including forensic investigation and root cause analysis. Strong understanding of authentication and authorization mechanisms (OAuth, SAML, LDAP) and identity and access management (IAM) concepts. Preferred Experience: Experience with cloud security and infrastructure as code (IaC) tools, such as AWS Security Services (IAM, AWS Config, AWS CloudTrail) or Azure Security Center. Experience implementing security controls in software applications Ability to conduct security audits and risk assessments Experience implementing and enforcing security standards across CI/CD processes Education Requirements: Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, cybersecurity, or a related field Relevant certifications such as Certified DevSecOps Engineer (CDSOE), Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) are highly desirable.
