Location: Saxonburg, PA, US hybrid local to the area, some travel (1-2 x per month)

Gaven Industries manufactures highly engineered systems for electromagnetic and RF shielding including solutions for IEMI, EMI, RFI, and HEMP/EMP. Our diverse customer base is spread across multiple verticals with thousands of government and commercial customers worldwide. We are experiencing rapid growth and are looking for a talented Project Manager to join our team.

The Project Manager is responsible for planning and overseeing projects to ensure they are completed in a timely fashion and within budget. This role will plan and designate project resources, prepare budgets, monitor progress, and keep stakeholders informed the entire way.

The successful applicant will create and maintain: project schedules, progress reports, submittal logs, RFI logs, meeting minutes, etc.

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee projects from preparation to completion
• Consult on takeoff and estimation
• Create Statements of Work
• Reviewing of construction contracts to assure terms and conditions are applicable to the proposed Statement of Work
• Collaborate with Engineering to prepare and submit Shop Drawings and Request for Information (RFI's)
• Schedule and coordinate field installation crews and/or subcontractors
• Process change orders
• Preparation and submission of close out documents
• Coordinate pricing and design efforts when required with internal engineering personnel along with external architectural and engineering firms

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

• Understand the fundamentals of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire alarm systems, etc.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Project, Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point
• Flexibility to adapt to new challenges
• The ability to research and learn as customer requirements change and new products and methods are developed
• Be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
• Ability to multitask (management of multiple projects)
• Ability to travel (1-2 times/month) to project locations around the US for construction coordination meetings
• Possess a valid driver's license

Education / Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field preferred
• Five (5) years or more as a commercial construction Project Manager
