Position Title Network Administrator

Location: Sanford, FL (Onsite)

Experience/ MANDATORY:

Position requires Laptop, cellphone, and transportation for travel to remote locations.

Functional Responsibility/ Tasks:

The Department has 2,296 network devices including 434 CCTV, 422 Detectors, 133 DMS, and 380 Switches spread across 350 miles of roadways.

This position is responsible for ensuring the continued operation of the network connecting these devices.

This includes coordination with contractors, service providers, vendors, and consultants as needed.

Position requires reporting to the Sanford TMC during regular business hours.

Traveling to field locations and maintenance warehouses will also be required as needed.

This position will lead efforts including coordination with the Department's contract manager to provide direction on physical layer changes and implementation of all Layer 2 and layer 3 protocols.

This position is also responsible for configuration and operation of Libre NMS and Brocade Network Performance Monitor which monitors the network.

SLERS background, CJIS, and Client security and policy modules will need to be completed prior to start of work.
