JOB DETAIL
This is ONSITE positin in Dayton OH
Leading the Integrated Product Team (IPT) and ensure V&V activities are on time and on budget
Work closely with Design and Systems Teams to confirm full specification compliance of electrical power generation products and drive timely problem report resolutions.
Test planning and procedure development for electrical power generation products that will demonstrate compliance to specifications
Coordination with test lab team to ensure test cell availability and Test Specialist resource availability
Conduct Test Readiness Review prior to test start
Support root cause investigations as needed along with Design Team
Ongoing communication with Engineering Program Manager to enable issues be quickly addressed
Participate in LEAN engineering activities such as release planning, concept and technical design reviews, and LEAN events
Ensure cross-system dependencies and system integration activities are addressed in the program plan
Ensure projects are supported through entire life-cycle.
Explain difficult or sensitive information and promote agreement
Coach system engineers and engineering team members.
A minimum of 10 years of engineering experience
DO-160 or MIL-STD-810 test experience
Matlab / Simulink experience (Desired)
PTC Windchill experience (Desired)
DOORS requirement management experience
Effective communication skills and strong interpersonal skills
High degree of accountability to program deliverables, including quality, reliability, performance, and cost
Clear thinker and ability to work with limited information and ambiguous problem definitions
