VMware Engineer

job summary:
Required Skills:
- Undergraduate degree in a related field, or equivalent combination of training and experience
- 5+ years of experience working in virtualization and EUC related fields as an engineer or architect
- Management and support skills in a large corporate enterprise consisting of 50,000+ endpoints
- Experience with the architecture/design of a VMware Horizon and Citrix environment with 10,000 concurrent users
- Experience operating, maintaining, optimizing, and expanding the virtual infrastructure to include virtual servers and virtual desktops using VMware technology
- Understanding of platform performance analysis, telemetry, and performance related troubleshooting
- Solid experience implementing best practices
- in an end user environment
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work assignments
- Understanding of VMware NSX in the desktop environment
- Understanding of VMware vROPS/V4H in the desktop environment-Understanding/Experience with IT audit and security assessment processes
location: Dallas, Texas job type: Contract salary: $63.68 - 73.68 per hour work hours: 8am to 5pm education: Bachelors responsibilities:
