We are looking for an experienced, dedicated, and analytical VP of Business Development specializing in loan servicing to join our team and take on a wide range of responsibilities, from the daily activities of the sales team to managing large clients. The VP of Business Development will establish a strategy for net new business acquisition, and growth of existing customers, as well as oversee the enablement of new feature adoption across our customer base. The VP will have a clear understanding of the loan servicing and financial sector, as well as financial technologies. They must also be excellent communicators with excellent customer service skills who can quickly navigate any situation to reach desired goals. Ultimately, you will work with leaders across our sales team to ensure our organization hits our sales and revenue goals.


Responsibilities

  • Proactively originate new business to meet/exceed sales goals year over year
  • Develop and maintain our customer portfolios and identify opportunities to expand into new markets and/or products
  • Shape our go-to-market strategy and positioning for our critical product areas and communicate this in an actionable way to our Sales & Account Management organization
  • Continuous market analysis on all key competitors including service offerings, acquisitions, and pricing
  • Outline and manage sales budgets
  • Set quarterly and annual sales goals
  • Provide detailed sales forecasting

Requirements

  • Proven work experience as a VP of Business Development or a similar role
  • A minimum of 8 years experience in a commercial strategy role in the loan servicing or fintech sector
  • Past work experience in the Financial Services vertical required
  • In-depth knowledge of selling strategies and methods, as well as employee motivation techniques
  • Strong working knowledge of the company's products, competitive products, and the market
  • Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
  • Great strategic planning, organizational, and creative thinking skills
  • Travel 50%- 70%
