VP of Commercial Marketing Strategy

As an integral senior leader on the Marketing team, you will oversee all Commercial Marketing Strategy and initiatives that drive and support top of funnel brand and product leadership communications. You will be focused on clear articulation of our products and services, you will be comfortable working with cross functional leadership and have a passion for driving transformational change.

You are a big picture thinker. You will have enough strategy and consultative experience to enable you to map out the future needs of healthcare and apply that to how EDH is disrupting the archaic healthcare system with our products and services. Healthcare experience is a plus but not required if you have the right research-based mindset, and data driven in your strategic thinking.

Your skillset will be varied but should include being a successful strategic innovator. Specific experience in commercial / enterprise marketing strategy is required

You are comfortable defining new processes, training and leading teams and working closely with Clients, Sales leaders, and Advisors to validate and implement new strategic vision.

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Utilization of data analytics / Business intelligence to support your thinking.
  • Consultative mindset that enables you to think at a macro level and support in defining and driving the EDH commercial marketing long term and overarching product and B2B strategy.
    • Support this with process and systems/tool requirements, and tactics to improve performance and in supporting new business and sales growth.
  • Partner and align with Brand and Digital Marketing teams to deliver against established marketing goals and respective KPIs across all target audiences.
  • Proactively work closely with Sales teams to effectively implement marketing strategies that support new and existing business growth.
  • Establish meaningful commercial metrics and align team operations and processes around driving these metrics and KPIs. Work with the Commercial team to supplement reporting from a marketing success perspective, and eventually calculating ROI against investments into commercial communications by Marketing.
  • With support from your team - provide Marketing, Sales and Technical support at conferences, customer sites, digital events, and other specific marketing/sales events.
  • Provide consistent market feedback and articulation on healthcare trends, economics, construction, partnerships, and competition to assist in thought leadership content development, as well as sales and product development.
  • Partner closely with healthcare Partners and Advisors to ensure that EDHs commercial strategy leverages these relationships and provides an ROI on investments with these partners.
  • Provide feedback, materials, and support to the Sales Training team for customer facing training, education programs and internal stakeholder training
  • Lead and grow a commercially focused marketing team that balances ideation and execution in their output.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business Administration, Science, or field related to job duties. MBA a plus
  • 12+ years of experience in healthcare, financial or educational consulting and in-line marketing experience.
    • Commercial / Enterprise Sales enablement. Differing industry backgrounds may be in consideration if the foundational experience is applicable.
  • A leader who has managed across an organization and grown newly developed team and processes
  • Willingness to travel 10-15% if not located within the Dallas area
