While ESG compliance has been around for decades, focus on carbon emissions has increased significantly. Limiting warming to 1.5C implies reaching net zero CO2 emissions globally around 2050. This will require an annual spend of $9 trillion. Large businesses can influence the majority of reductions needed (fortune 500 companies are responsible for 27% of global emissions). While businesses around the world have committed towards a net zero future, the pathway is unclear

  • sentra.world is a technology platform powering ESG excellence o (link removed)lculus is an ESG management product, enabling businesses to meet ESG compliance, access new markets and reduce costs o (link removed)work is a scope 3 focused product that seamlessly tracks supplier emissions and enable green sourcing
  • The revenue model is based on SaaS subscription fees - enterprise level fees for (link removed)lculus and nominal for each supplier on (link removed)work
  • The primary focus is on industrial manufacturing led companies - which make up almost 50% of global emissions. Geographically, the Middle East, Southeast Asia and India are in immediate focus, with EU and North Asia being mid-term focus areas.
  • Team is led by 2 ex-McKinsey jr. Partners who have each spent 15+ yrs in Sustainability and Heavy industry, Industry practitioners, Implementation specialists, and a fully loaded technology team
  • Currently undergoing a seed round fund raise with committed institutional investors, and 2 pilot large scale industrial clients in play

About the role

  • Full time role in Bangalore
  • Part of founding team, reporting to co-founder, opportunity to shape technology platform which will be deployed to top global fortune 500 companies

  • Build out the platform in a joint team of inhouse + 3rd party technology partner
  • Recruit and develop full engineering team including Full stack developers, UI/UX developers, Data Engineers, Data scientists, IOT Engineers
  • Manage engineering budgets and resources to ensure timely delivery of products
  • Lead client interactions on all technology related discussion
  • Ensure compliance with global industry standards and regulations

Key requirements

  • 10-14 years in technology, having seen 2-3 cycles of product buildout
  • Experience with enterprise products
  • Expertise on current tech stack (but not limited to) Angular, C#, .net Core, MS SQL server, Azure
  • Familiar with Enterprise Architecture, Security, Cloud, Data Management
  • Knowledge of international standards and regulations e.g., GDPR, ISO
  • International experience (a plus)
  • Strong leadership skills, sound decision making and able to work with fast evolving requirements
  • Able to translate business understanding to technical requirements for the team

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 2,072,214.56 - 7,475,910.46 per year
