This role will play an integral part in building transparent and objective-driven department goals that align to the enterprise strategic initiatives. You will provide motivational leadership, foster professional development, and growth across the tax department
The role will include:
- Oversee all aspects of tax compliance and accounting for income tax reporting, including overseeing all tax examinations.
- Establish Corporate Tax strategic road-map and lead plan execution.
- Manage Corporate Tax department within established budget.
- Lead, develop, and mentor tax professionals.
Requirements
- 15 20 years of corporate tax practice experience
- University degree BA or BS
- Masters or JD degree
- CPA license
- Insurance and asset management knowledge
- Previous experience of high level organizational decision making and thought leadership in response to tax opportunities, risk mitigation and strategic setting
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- High degree of problem solving and analytical skills; proven innovator
- Previous experience interacting with business leaders
- Active participation in trade associations
