We are looking to add a dedicated, experienced Vice President of Sales and Marketing to our executive team. The ideal candidate will be based in or around the metro Seattle area, but this is not an absolute requirement. Extensive experience managing sales and marketing teams, budgets, sales forecasts, and demand generation initiatives are required. Strong familiarity with cloud computing or similar technologies is essential. Certification in AWS cloud technologies is a major plus but not required.
As the Vice President of Sales and Marketing, you will be responsible for leading our sales and marketing initiatives to achieve corporate objectives. You will be expected to develop and execute strategies that drive revenue, profitability, and market share. You will oversee the sales and marketing teams, budget allocation, demand generation, and sales forecasts.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing strategies
Provide leadership and direction to the Sales and Marketing departments
Manage department budgets and P&L
Spearhead new business development initiatives
Drive demand generation campaigns and ROI analysis
Oversee market research and competitive analysis
Develop and track key performance metrics
Report directly to the CEO on sales and marketing performance
Build and maintain strong customer relationships
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align with company objectives.
Requirements
Minimum of 10+ years of experience in Sales and Marketing leadership roles
Proven track record in driving sales growth and profitability
Extensive experience in managing teams, budgets, and forecasts
Strong understanding of cloud computing or similar technology sectors
Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Willingness to travel as required
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in AWS cloud technologies
Proven experience in a fast-paced start-up or scale-up environment
Existing relationships within the cloud computing industry
