As the leader of OnLogics Engineering organization, you set the direction for the global Engineering organization in alignment with the company strategy. You direct a growing team of about 50 team members across all OnLogic sites worldwide in charge of developing the companys own industrial PC products. You are in charge of developing the differentiated products that are at the core of Onlogics product offerings.

On an average day, you'll...

  • Develop and implement strategic direction for Engineering at OnLogic including the Engineering Operating Strategy.
  • Grow worldwide Engineering and its Leadership team, ensuring strong connection to company culture as we grow in our US and international teams.
  • Partner with Product Management team in developing the product roadmap as well as the architecture and Engineering Design Documentation for all new product developments.
  • Ownership for planning and executing to the Engineering budget, effectively performing capacity and resource planning.
  • Driving continuous improvement and innovation through the Engineering organization and greater organization.
  • Foster a culture of continuous innovation and bringing processes and cross functional interactions to the next level.
  • Continue to grow capacity, competency, and efficiency of the Engineering team.
  • Continue to bring multi stage gate development processes to the next level, driving to ensure our products are highly differentiated in the marketplace.
  • Maintain and grow relationships with partners and suppliers to support product developments

  • Engineering: Our Engineering team creates our cutting edge industrial computers by finding innovative solutions on a daily basis. The Engineering team's success relies on collaboration, creative thinking and a commitment to being at the forefront of technology. The Engineering team at OnLogic encompasses the following functions: Electrical Engineering, Firmware / BIOS Development, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, Regulatory, Applications Engineering, Validation and Verification, Test Engineering, as well as Project Management. The team is set up globally with team members in Taiwan, Malaysia, South Burlington (VT), Cary (NC), and the Netherlands.

Requirements

  • Technical background in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science or a related field
  • Experience leading Engineering teams in hardware and/or software development
  • Experience in developing computers such as motherboards and chassis are preferred
  • Minimum of 10 years of Engineering management experience
  • Minimum of 3 years experience leading Engineering Managers
  • Experience collaborating across multiple engineering disciplines in a leadership capacity, such as mechanical, electrical, firmware and product testing, etc.
  • Ability to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship

Benefits

The salary range for this role is $200,000 to $235,000. We determine final compensation based on discussions with applicants and their experience in similar roles.
