COMPANY OVERVIEW: Premier Operator for rail switching, loading, tankerman, dock operations, railcar repair, and related services for the chemical, refining, marine transportation, and related industries.

TITLE: VP of Operations, Innovation, and Corporate Development

COMPENSATION: DOE

LOCATION: Houston, TX/Baton Rouge, LA

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP: CEO

RESPONSIBILITIES
In collaboration with the CEO, develop, implement, and execute growth strategies for premier provider of product handling and site logistics services
P&L responsibility for current site-based operations
Provide leadership and support to multiple teams of highly qualified professionals and skilled laborers
Manage customer relationships at the site and corporate level
Maintain safety and operational excellence by focusing on preventive, corrective, and predictive factors for continuous improvement
Maintain and promote the companys award-winning culture to produce a superior customer and employee experience
Identify technology and innovation opportunities to enhance value

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Required

BS in engineering
10+ years in refining or chemical manufacturing operations
Commensurate experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
Demonstrated ability to identify, promote and execute a vision of leadership
History of success in managing people to achieve operational excellence
Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
Comfortable in plant and corporate settings
Willing to travel.
Must be authorized to work for any employer in the US.

Preferred
Master of Business Administration
Knowledgeable in site-based logistics e.g. rail, truck, marine, warehouse, tank farm
Experience directing multiple high-performing teams
