Position Description:

We are seeking a high-energy and enthusiastic individual contributor in our ever-growing and dynamic company to sell Rockpoint's products directly to personal injury law firms. The position requires residency in Los Angeles, CA, or Beverly Hills, CA. The individual will own client relationships in his or her assigned territory. A fit for this position requires a charismatic, relatable, warm extrovert with a strong sense of urgency and hyper-responsiveness to clients via phone, email, and in scheduling meetings. This individual will educate clients on Rockpoint's services, consult to solve their problems, and successfully close deals while providing a superior client experience. An ideal candidate will have experience developing relationships and a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Identify, build, and develop new client business with strategic targets in key market segments.
  • Maintain accurate records and manage sales pipeline, including contacts, opportunities, lead lists, activities, and account updates and notes in a proprietary database.
  • Conduct several meetings per week with clients to uncover and understand needs. Deliver results from these meetings.
  • Collaborate and problem-solve with sales support departments to maximize sales team potential.
  • Able and willing to travel and/or work nights and weekends, as required, for participation in networking conferences, dinners, and activities related to relationship development.
  • Monitor and share observations related to competitor activities and market trends as well as keep current industry developments.
  • Assist senior management in the development and updating of the regional business plan.
  • Meet and exceed sales quotas.
  • Ad Hoc projects as needed.


Qualifications:

The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills, and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of knowledge, skills, and abilities:

  • Exhibit strong business acumen, maturity, and the ability to work effectively with others.
  • Bachelor's degree required. Juris Doctor with experience in a field related to personal injury preferred.
  • Minimum five years experience in sales, business development, and/or legal.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications and Google Suite, and willingness to learn/use mobile and web-based sales and project management applications.
  • Adept at social media

Compensation:

$100,000 - $110,000 yearly base salary + target commission of $48,000
