Vaccine Production Lab Techs

Vaccine Production Lab Techs Science graduates encouraged to apply! Technicians assist in tissue and viral culture for vaccine production in a clean room laboratory environment. Viral cultures are then harvested, batched, and filled. Details: - $19/hr and Direct Hire.
- Career and Salary Progression scheduled at 6, 12, 18 months!

Responsibilities: - Prepare growth medium to be used during vaccine production.
- Basic tissue and viral culturing.
- Requires daily gowning with sterile hooded coveralls, goggles, face masks, two pairs of gloves, and clean room boot coverings.
- Procedures take place under a Grade A Laminar Air Flow hood in a clean room laboratory.
- All laboratory processes must be performed aseptically according to laboratory SOPs.
- All procedures must be thoroughly documented.
- Work will require coordination with other technicians.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: - High School Diploma or equivalent and experience in GMP preferred, but not required.
- Able to read, write legibly, and communicate in English.
- Squatting, bending, twisting, lifting 50 lbs, and fine motor skills all required.
- Prefer experience working while preventing contamination, such as medical work, laboratory education, or aseptic sample handling.
