Job TitleValidation Lead Job DescriptionWork with a team of highly skilled people and bring innovative clinical solutions in 2D and 3D imaging to our customers around the world. You drive the design validation strategy and evidence collection throughout our projects, to ensure the product release meets customer, regulatory and business needs. Our products, exhibiting excellent user experience, support physicians that provide the best treatment in the most demanding conditions, from cardiovascular to oncological and neurological treatment. We touch patients lives when it matters most, and we aim to do it in the most reliable, effective and sustainable way.
Your role Design validation strategy in an assigned R&D project i.e., design validation plan, traceability & evidence collection Budgeting & coordination of design validation resources including test systems, validation engineers and recruitment costs Support the usability activities for R&D studies and projects Stakeholder management with functions in Clinical Marketing, Service, and R&D departments
You are a part of Within Philips Healthcare in our Campus in Best, the Business Unit Image Guided Therapy Systems is responsible for marketing, development, manufacturing, services, and solutions, used in the area of cardiac and vascular medical diagnosis and intervention. The customers are hospitals and their medical specialists. Our customers are interventional specialists in the cardiology, vascular surgery, neurology, and radiology domain operating in a wide variety of hospitals across the globe. The team you will be working in is a high-performance, culturally diverse team working in a dynamic environment & driving change in a large matrix organization. The team is approx. 8 people working in the areas of Usability, Design Validation, and Process Improvement.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience: Master or PHD in a technical or clinical field 2-5 years of experience in the medical imaging industry Usability Engineering background and experience Experience in validation of complex products Understanding of research methodologies and clinical study design according to good clinical practices Knowledge of design controls and international standards & regulations (e.g. IEC62304, ISO13485, ISO14971, IEC62366) Proven project management skills in managing multiple stakeholders and projects Domain expertise in algorithm and/or claim validation (including AI and Machine Learning) is a plus You are a self-starter, quality-conscious, excellent communicator, problem solver and team player
