Position Summary
Managers have responsibility for the management of complex client engagements. Managers will provide a range of valuation and financial advisory services to corporate, private equity, investors & creditors and legal counsel clients; including business enterprise valuations, purchase price allocations, goodwill impairment testing, fairness opinions, solvency opinions and other equity, derivative and intangible valuations.

In this visible role as a brand ambassador for Huron Business Advisory/Valuation you will contribute to the innovation and the advancement of existing solution capabilities. You will thrive in a collaborative team environment while also exercising appropriate autonomy when needed to meet job requirements. As a Manager, you will spend a time mentoring junior staff on the engagement team and helping them develop by providing necessary direction. All of our consultants must demonstrate the highest level integrity, personal and Huron values, along with a commitment to Huron by championing company goals and administrative practices.Qualifications

  • Certification in one or more of the following is desirable: CPA, ABV, CFA or ASA
  • Experience with equity allocation modeling, Black-Scholes modeling, and other complex securities valuation is a plus.
  • Solid written communication and documentation skills are desired in order to create client deliverables that are succinct, articulate and meet Huron's standards of quality.
  • Strong organization and time management skills are critical to manage multiple priorities at once, often with fast-paced turnaround times
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office programs and tools including PowerPoint, Word and Excel
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics or MBA
  • A minimum of 5+ years' experience in the valuation industry or related services, with specialized skills in one or more of the following service areas:

o Financial Reporting/Purchase Price Allocations

o Fairness, Solvency, or Transaction Opinions

o Financial Modeling

o Accounting

The estimated base salary range for this job is $120,000 - $160,000. The range represents a good faith estimate of the range that Huron reasonably expects to pay for this job at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel. This job is also eligible to participate in Huron's annual incentive compensation program, which reflects Huron's pay for performance philosophy. Inclusive of annual incentive compensation opportunity, the total estimated compensation range for this job is $138,000 - $200,000. The job is also eligible to participate in Huron's benefit plans which include medical, dental and vision coverage and other wellness programs. The salary range information provided is in accordance with applicable state and local laws regarding salary transparency that are currently in effect and may be implemented in the future.
