Exciting Opportunity for a Vendor Management Coordinator with a top company in Austin! Starting as a 6 month contract that will extend long-term. This position is fully remote / work from home!As a Vendor Manager, you will work with the Outpost team to match engineering project needs with Indeed-approved Vendor supply and capability. You will be expected to personally engage with your assigned vendor partner to review daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly performance, and act as the primary point of contact for Indeed. You will combine your outsourcing/vendor management background with technical skills to ensure that we are getting the most from our operations vendor partners. This position requires experience in vendor management with experience in business requirements development, project management skills and cross-functional teaming. The role will require extensive interaction across multiple cross-functional areas such as Business Analytics, Finance, Learning and Development, Quality Assurance, and Compliance. The role requires a great deal of ownership and accountability. These individual needs experience in vendor onboarding, working with risk and compliance teams to understand the nuances of vendor onboarding.Responsibilities: Vendor onboarding/offboarding Partner with Procurement and Legal to standardize and document the onboarding process. Document and update the vendor guidebook. Risk Management Partner with Vendor Manager and internal teams like Security to develop a risk management plan to mitigate potential risks associated with working with vendors, such as data breaches, legal or regulatory compliance, or business continuity disruptions. Monitor vendor compliance with regulatory requirements, and ensure that they have appropriate controls and safeguards in place to protect sensitive data Vendor Scorecard Partner with Vendor Manager to formalize the scoring system of how well our vendors are performing. Continuous Improvement Continuously evaluate and improve your vendor management processes to ensure that they are effective, efficient, and aligned with Outpost's goals. Incorporate feedback from customers and vendors, and implement best practices to optimize vendor performance and value. Comms & VMS Updates Collaborate on VMS features (announcement board, broadcasting) to communicate with our vendors. We are currently uploading Announcements and sending out emails to vendors Performance Monitoring Partner with Vendor Manager to Regularly monitor vendor performance against agreed-upon metrics, such as service level agreements (SLAs)* and key performance indicators (KPIs)*. Conduct regular reviews of vendor performance Assists the Vendor Manager with all tasks and projects associated with improving the vendor network communication, performance, and overall goals of the corporate directives Utilize data to facilitate and support general contract consolidation and corporate cost reduction exercisesSkills/Qualifications: 5+ years' experience in development services vendor management, forecasting, end to end project management, and/or operations Strong Organizational Skills Good Customer Service & Email Skills Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and vendor partners Strategic thinker with strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills Skilled analytical problem solver with the ability to identify, prioritize, and resolve various complex operational/ production issues. Ability to analyze and organize a plan based upon available information
