Vertex is going to interface with SAP

This is in the Accounting/Finance space so people that have experience with Treasury or Concur and then fixed assets would be ideal

The manager is going to be ooo the week of March 9th

The resource needs to be able to support current projects as well as get on board with new projects.

Previous contractor was not hands on and so they need someone that is more technical with the Vertex and integration with the other streams, to be able to know what tests need to be done and do them.

Job Description

- Supports the GLOBE Solution and complementary applications, primarily in the areas of Finance, Treasury, Tax and Concur.

- Sustaining, implementing, process improvement, and leverage activities delivering process implementation and improvement targets.

- Striving to deliver simplified, standardized and shared processes and solutions that satisfy the business needs.

- Strengthening solutions through leveraging their expertise.

- Co-ordinate all deployment initiatives within the project and proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crisis, and devise contingency plans

Technical Skills

• 5+ Years of experience with SAP (R/3 & S/4 Hana) or 3 full lifecycle implementations of SAP Finance in a consumer goods environment.


• Nice to have experience in SAP Concur and Vertex

Other Skills

• Preferred experience in Accounting/Finance function (e.g. GL account, Company code set up, bank accounts and so on).


• Project Management skills - Co-ordinate all deployment initiatives; Define and establish scope; Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans; Coach other members in the project


• Fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry experience in a multicultural/ varied nationality environment

Education Required

• Advanced Financial qualification/ degree strongly preferred: CPA certified or graduate degree in Business/Finance and/or Accounting

• What is the team like? It’s a mix of resources with great technical knowledge and others with a very good blend of Technical and functional knowledge.

• What technology are currently supporting? SAP FI, Mainly SAP S/4 HANA and interaction with Legacy applications (Vertex & Quantum).
